Trapped in Camera Obscura
The images captured by cameras placed in the forests always fascinate me. These cameras reinforce the idea that animals lead two different lives, almost as if they are saying, "Let's return to our normal selves now that humans are gone," and they can create incredibly goofy and silly situations. Whether it's animals playing tag-team, the intimacy shared between two different species, or foxes engaging in games to prepare for adulthood, these moments are all truly amazing. Inspired by the concept of capturing wildlife through camera traps, I designed my own forest, where I host a cast of forest clowns, blue-nosed little people, wolves, and fairies. In this series, we get to witness what my forest camera captures.
